Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born the 13th of December, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift is a pop/country singer-songwriter for the past 20 years. Stories of romance and love at first sight have gained her widespread popularity during the 21st Century. Swift began to show an keen interest in the world of music in the early years of her life. She made rapid progress starting with children's roles and her debut public performance in front of thousands. She was age 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and next year, she picked up the guitar and began writing songs. Swift composed original music that was inspired by country stars like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material expresses her life as young and a teenager. Swift's family relocated to Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of 13, so that she would have longer pursuing the country music label in Nashville.
